Importing OpenVPN Configs on macOS
Introduction
On a Mac, install OpenVPN Connect and import a VPN Safe .ovpn. This is the path when WireGuard UDP is blocked or you already live in OpenVPN Connect.
App: openvpn.net/client (macOS)
Zips: vpnsafe.net/downloads/openvpn-udp.zip / vpnsafe.net/downloads/openvpn-tcp.zip
Import and connect
- Install OpenVPN Connect for macOS and open it.
- Unzip the UDP pack.
- Click + > File and choose a city
.ovpn(example10gb-unitedkingdom-london1.ovpn). - Enter VPN Safe username and password.
- Allow the VPN / helper prompt in System Settings if macOS asks.
