Downloading OpenVPN Configs from the Client Area
Introduction
Under OpenVPN Config Downloads on the VPN product page you can grab the full UDP or TCP zip, a plain URL list, or a single city file. These are the same packs as vpnsafe.net/downloads/openvpn-udp.zip and vpnsafe.net/downloads/openvpn-tcp.zip. The Client Area is the supported place to get them while logged in.
Full zip packs
- Client Area > your VPN product > scroll to OpenVPN Config Downloads.
- UDP Configs —
.zippack, port 1194 UDP, faster. Start here. - TCP Configs — same cities over TCP, for hotel / office networks that drop UDP.
One city at a time
- On the same page, Download Individual UDP Config or Download Individual TCP Config.
- Wait for the dropdown to change from “Loading … servers” to Select a server.
- Pick a city (names are cleaned: United Kingdom, United States, and so on).
- Click Download UDP Config or Download TCP Config. The browser saves that
.ovpnfile.
If the dropdown stays on “Error loading servers”, refresh while logged in. Those lists come from the VpnPanel zip cache and need an active Client Area session.
URL lists
UDP Servers and TCP Servers download udpurls.txt / tcpurls.txt — host lists, not full OpenVPN profiles. Use them only if you already know how to point a custom client at a host. For OpenVPN Connect, import an .ovpn file, not the URL list.
Every .ovpn still needs your VPN username and password from the left column of the same page. The file does not contain the password. After download, follow Importing OpenVPN Configs on Windows (or Android / iOS / macOS / Linux).
